Crafting a new social media strategy, for Zizzi

The Brief

Having successfully worked with the Italian restaurant chain over a number of years, we were tasked by Zizzi to deliver a new organic social media strategy that could be executed in house to grow followers and deliver engagement.

The Solution

Through client consultations we dug into understanding more about the brand and target audiences, then took the team on a journey to understand wider social media trends, before getting granular with content themes (including how to “own” dishes), tone of voice and ideal posting frequencies across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok.

The Results

From interactive feed posts to the latest TikTok trends, the strategy gave Zizzi a framework and a host of tactical ideas that were implemented to help communicate the brand’s “great times” purpose. In a year Instagram followers grew by 20k, an increase of 28.5% – a great return that was driven by the new strategy.
