By
Tommy
Date Launched

Overview

To celebrate what would have been Bowie’s 75th birthday, Adobe honoured his boundary-pushing creativity with immersive experiences that brought the icon’s legacy into today’s pop culture.

Challenge

How do you celebrate Bowie’s timeless influence while showcasing Adobe’s creative capabilities? By intertwining technology and artistry to revive a legend.

Insight

David Bowie’s ever-evolving personas and pioneering artistry are as relevant today as they were decades ago. Fans continue to seek new ways to connect with his legacy.

Strategy

Create an interactive fan experience that merged the physical and digital worlds, showcasing Bowie’s iconic looks and Adobe’s creative tools.

Idea: A series of immersive activations that brought Bowie’s artistry to life, including:

AR Experiences: Iconic Bowie artwork reborn at Adobe’s flagship global events.

Fan World: Featuring red carpets, a Bowie dressing room, and exclusive artwork downloads.

Interactive Elements: Live AR photo booths and Instagram filters to try on Bowie’s most iconic looks, from Ziggy Stardust to The Thin White Duke.

Digital Graphics: A landing page with unique Bowie-inspired assets for fans to create their own masterpieces.
