How we got there
In 2020, beloved broadcaster Alan Partridge was riding the zeitgeist by launching his very own audio entertainment vehicle, a ‘pod cast’. However, as this beloved Broadcaster, Newscaster, Sportscaster & Thoughtcaster had such a busy schedule, we were asked by Audible to launch his podcast ‘From The Oasthouse’ without access to Alan’s time.
Still, we wanted to give him a public platform to promote ‘From The Oasthouse’ and to share his pearls of wisdom and insightful thought-leadership. So we created a LinkedIn profile for Alan, publishing blogs about business professionalism and reaching out to various bigwigs from media outlets in a bid to get attention.
It worked. It gave Alan the opportunity to really build his professional network and occasionally communicate with his contacts.
What it changed
Mentions from high-profile media outlets & accounts such as NME, Shortlist, Dave, the QI Elves, Edgar Wright, Grace Dent and Jeremy Vine. Alan now has thousands of connections. And a fair few awards to boot.
