Uber Eats | What Do We Call Them Now?

By
Joe Public London
Date Launched
June 1, 2024

Growth Insight

Uber and Uber Easts have become well known in South Africa, but when Uber Eats began delivering more than just food, the brand struggled to communicate that they deliver more than just your favourite takeaway.

Creative Idea

To raise awareness amongst South African's about Uber Eats and their wider Grocery delivery offering, we developed a campaign that aimed at playing into the challenges people were experiencing...now that they offer Grocery deliveries, what do South Africans call the brand now?

Impact

  • +75% increase in Unaided Awareness of Uber Eats Grocery delivery service

  • Doubled Grocery Top of Mind Awareness

  • +28% increase in Association with Grocery

  • +10% increase in Grocery orders via Uber Eats app
