Charitable campaigns

By
Department of Creativity (D.O.C)
Date Launched

Every year we look to do some good by coming up with a charitable campaign.

Our highlights include:

Christmas Coal for Crisis - we created christmascoal.co.uk. An online shop displaying the world's greatest range of coal, from MaCoalay Coalkin to Coadilocks, which allowed people to send real lumps of coal (and personal messages) to those on their ‘naughty list’ - all in the name of a good cause.

100% of donations went straight to the Crisis Charity for Homelessness.

Reloved - there are over 11,000 charity shops across the UK, full

of toys, games and gifts at inflation-busting prices - all

perfectly suitable to be given as presents. But they won’t

be, because of their packaging (or lack of it).

The solution? We gave a new life to these second-hand goods by

creating packaging that doesn’t shy away from them

being Reloved – it celebrated it! Doing good for the charity shops

selling them, good for the people buying them and

all-round good for the planet with less manufacturing

and less wastage to landfill.

A-Z Coronavirus for Kids - as owners of our agency as well as parents to two inquisitive girls, we realised that during the pandemic it was the littlest voices asking the loudest questions. 'Why can't I go to school? Why can't I see Nanny?' Our instinct is usually to shield our children from anything bad. That’s what we would normally do. But the pandemic wasn't normal. The A-Z of Coronavirus was our solution to explaining things, simply and gently. To find the fun and focus on the positives. And let them know that this isn’t forever.

Our campaign became award winning – beating a top five London agency to a Drum Award.
